Welcome to PeepsRide; a social enterprise that enables carpooling and transport services for those with a disability, care organisations, inclusive businesses, schools, carers, guardians and their dependents.
PeepsRide is owned and operated by PeepsRide Proprietary Limited, a Limited Liability Company registered under the Corporation Act, 2001. Our office is at 11 York Street, Sydney, New South Wales 2000, Australia.
The terms and conditions (Terms) given here will govern your (as a user) access to and use of the following:

By accessing or using PeepsRide’s Platform, you are agreeing to these Terms, which form a legally binding agreement between you and PeepsRide.

This electronic record is generated by a computer system. So no signatures—physical or digital—are needed to make it binding on parties.

To use PeepsRide’s Platform, you represent and confirm that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age or above to form a binding contract with PeepsRide.
In these cases, if you use, transact with or avail of the services on PeepsRide’s Platform, we assume that you are doing so in the presence of an adult or your legal guardian who is capable of agreeing to the Terms.
As a user who is 18 years of age or above and as an adult/guardian under whose supervision other users access and use PeepsRide’s Platform, you are liable under the following Terms:
If PeepsRide has reasonable grounds to suspect or finds out that the Personally Identifiable Information you have provided is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, we have the right to suspend or terminate your account. We can refuse any and all current or future use of our services, either partially or completely. If providing such information (untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete) has resulted in any loss to PeepsRide, you also undertake to compensate us for the loss.
As a user of PeepsRide’s Platform, you need to maintain the code of conduct described here. If you do not adhere to the code of conduct, we may suspend/deactivate or permanently close your account and membership. In case we suspend/deactivate your account, you may have to pay a reactivation fee to restore your account.

You acknowledge that PeepsRide regulates the content uploaded, published and/or posted by users. If user content is found to be derogatory according to PeepsRide’s accepted norms, PeepsRide will have the content removed and the user’s account will be temporarily suspended or permanently deactivated. Users may have to pay a reactivation fee to reactivate a suspended account.
What content is considered derogatory according to PeepsRide’s accepted norms? Any upload, post and/or publication in any form where the content:
You understand and agree that you will refrain from representing that PeepsRide, at any time, has sponsored or endorsed your content.
Certain categories of business and business practices are prohibited from using PeepsRide’s Platform. These categories are listed in Annexure A. However, the list is not exhaustive. If you are uncertain as to whether your business is a prohibited business, or if you have questions about how these requirements apply to you, please contact us.
You consent, express and agree that you have read and understood PeepsRide’s Privacy Policy. You also accept the terms and conditions of the Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of PeepsRide’s Platform.
You acknowledge and agree that PeepsRide owns all legal rights, titles and interests in and to PeepsRide’s Platform. This includes any intellectual property rights that subsist in PeepsRide’s Platform (whether or not those rights are registered, and wherever in the world those rights may exist). These rights include, but are not limited to:
Users have the limited right to access, book, download and print from PeepsRide’s Platform and use the respective documents for personal use only.
You agree to keep in confidence and not disclose/use for your own benefit or for the benefit of any Third Party any information, documents and/or materials regarding PeepsRide, its businesses, customers, clients, suppliers or methods of operation that are:

You will also take such reasonable care to protect such information as you would take if the information was your own property.
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold PeepsRide harmless from and against all claims (including, without limitation, claims from other users and Third Parties), actions, suits, demands, damage, obligations, settlements, judgments, service liability claims and all costs, charges, expenses, losses and damages (including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys’ and other professional advisors’ fees, costs and expenses) incurred or suffered or caused to or sustained by us by reason of:
The Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws (as defined in the End User Licence Agreement) of Australia, in force for the time being.
It is deemed that you, as we do, agree to be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in the city of New South Wales only.
EXCEPT WITH RESPECT TO PEEPSRIDE’S SOFTWARE, PEEPSRIDE DOES NOT WARRANT AND WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
TO THE EXTENT POSSIBLE, PEEPSRIDE REVIEWS AND REMOVES DEROGATORY CONTENT UPLOADED, POSTED AND/OR PUBLISHED BY USERS. PEEPSRIDE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY FURTHER UPLOAD, POST AND/OR PUBLISHING OF CONTENT ON PEEPSRIDE’S PLATFORM THAT IS EMBARRASSING, HARASSING AND/OR DEFAMATORY TO OTHER USERS OR THIRD PARTIES AND AGAINST ACCEPTABLE NORMS.
PEEPSRIDE AIMS TO PREVENT ANY COMMISSION OF AN ILLEGAL OR UNLAWFUL ACT WITH RESPECT TO THE LAWS OF AUSTRALIA AND THE RESPECTIVE LAWS OF THE STATE AND COUNTRY WHERE PEEPSRIDE PROVIDES ITS SERVICES. PEEPSRIDE DISCLAIMS ANY LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF ANY ILLEGAL OR UNLAWFUL ACT MADE THROUGH PEEPSRIDE’S PLATFORM.
PEEPSRIDE DISCLAIMS ANY INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY VIOLATION AND CLAIMS MADE TO PEEPSRIDE ON ACCOUNT OF ANY THIRD PARTY INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY VIOLATION.
PEEPSRIDE SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS/DAMAGE/CLAIM ARISING OUT OF DOWNLOADS FROM THE USE OF PEEPSRIDE’S PLATFORM. SUCH DOWNLOADS ARE DONE AT YOUR OWN RISK. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INTRUSION OR DAMAGE TO YOUR DEVICE/MOBILE/TABLET/COMPUTER.
PEEPSRIDE DISCLAIMS AND WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE SUFFERED BY THE USER THROUGH ACCESS OR USE OF THIRD PARTY WEBSITES, WHOSE LINKS APPEAR ON PEEPSRIDE’S PLATFORM.
PEEPSRIDE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON- INFRINGEMENT.
If any dispute, controversy or claim (referred to as ‘dispute’ from here on) arises between you and PeepsRide, it will be resolved mutually by engaging in a good faith negotiation to resolve the dispute.
In case the dispute is not settled within fifteen (15) days of such good faith negotiation, it will be referred to arbitration.
When the dispute is referred for arbitration:
You acknowledge and agree that PeepsRide is not liable for any loss or damage that you may incur as a result of accessing and using external websites, applications or resources, whose links may appear on PeepsRide’s Platform as advertisements or otherwise.
Any reliance you place on the completeness, accuracy or existence of any products or other materials on, or available from, these websites, applications or resources is your sole responsibility. PeepsRide is not connected to such advertising or other material in any manner.
You agree that no joint venture, partnership, principal-agent and/or employment relationship exists between you and PeepsRide as a result of these Terms or use of PeepsRide’s Platform.
Fictitious names of companies, products, people, characters, and/or data mentioned on PeepsRide’s Platform are not intended to represent any real individual, company, product or event.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, only then will the provision be modified to reflect the parties’ intention or eliminated to the extent necessary. The Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable. You will remain bound by the updated Terms.
Pactasuntservanda (Agreement must be kept): This agreement between the parties contains clauses that serve as law between the parties. The nonfulfillment of the respective obligations constitutes a breach of the Terms.

Your action is the symbol of your signature. You agree that you have fully read, understood and are consenting to be bound by and are becoming a party to this agreement and the terms and conditions in it. We, at PeepsRide, are in complete agreement with Katherine Neville. We value you—our users—and are committed to protecting and promoting your privacy. This Privacy Policy will help you understand how we collect, use and disclose your personal information in connection with your use of PeepsRide’s websites, emails and mobile/tablet applications (PeepsRide’s Platform).

To verify the information you have provided, PeepsRide may, at any time, ask you to upload a scanned copy of a valid identity proof before or after you have created your PeepsRide account (as defined in the End User Licence Agreement).
If we find out/have knowledge, at any time, that you have provided a fake/illegal identity proof or have committed any other irregularity while creating a PeepsRide account, we may terminate/de-activate your PeepsRide account.
You may opt to decline communications from PeepsRide (Please refer to our Opt-Out Policy described below.).
If you feel that your profile or your personal information has been misused in any manner, you can ask for its removal. Only users with whom you wish to connect or from whom you want to avail services will have access to your information.
However, PeepsRide reserves the right to share your information with a Third Party to the extent that sharing such information is necessary in order to provide PeepsRide’s services or to protect PeepsRide’s interest.

When you use our services to view content provided by PeepsRide, we may automatically collect and store certain information in server logs. This includes:
To enable PeepsRide to function and to connect the driver with the respective passenger, PeepsRide will access the passenger’s location. When you open PeepsRide’s Platform on your tablet/mobile phone/computer, PeepsRide receives details of your current location. We may also collect the precise location of your device when the PeepsRide application is running in the foreground or background. We also receive information on locations that you label, such as ‘home’ and ‘work’.
When you start using PeepsRide’s Platform, you will be asked whether you want to allow PeepsRide to access your contacts list.
If your click ‘Yes’, PeepsRide can access and store names and contact information from your contact list. PeepsRide can use this information to facilitate invitations and social interactions that you initiate through PeepsRide’s Platform and for other purposes described in this Privacy Policy or at the time of consent or collection.
If you click ‘No’, PeepsRide will not be able to access your contacts list.
We use PII to:
PeepsRide drivers and passengers that have been matched for a ride will be able to see basic information about each other, such as names, photos, ratings and any other information in their profiles.
Drivers can see the pick-up location that the passenger has provided.
Passengers can see the driver’s vehicle information and real-time location as the driver approaches the pick-up location.
Although we help passengers and drivers communicate with one another to arrange a pickup, we do not share your actual phone number or other contact information with other users.
If you report a lost or found item to use, we will seek to connect you with the relevant passenger or driver. With your permission, we can share your actual contact information.
PeepsRide’s Platform may allow you to connect with Third Party websites/services that we don’t have control over. You will be solely liable for any loss/damage/harm that may be caused to you or your information by accessing these Third Party websites or availing yourselves of their services.
We strongly encourage you to read the privacy policies and other policies of these Third Party websites before you access or use their services.
We do not necessarily imply a recommendation of the Third Party links you may find on our Platform, neither do we imply an endorsement of the views expressed within them.
We may share your PII with Third Parties in the following cases:
We may partner with several vehicle-sharing services around the globe so that passengers can continue to find rides (as defined in the End User Licence Agreement) when they use PeepsRide’s Platform abroad and so that drivers can provide services abroad. When we match a ride with a partner, we share the same information that is shared between matched passengers and drivers on PeepsRide’s Platform.
We are meticulous when it comes to receiving and securing your Personally Identifiable Information—PII. We have a stringent security system in place to maintain your privacy and to create a completely secure operating environment.
We use data encryption to protect your PII. When you feed your PII into PeepsRide’s Platform, we use _ encryption to transfer it via the internet. We use _ encryption to secure PII, including account information and debit/credit card details.
You have the right to opt out of processes where your PII is used for purposes not directly related to PeepsRide’s Platform.

You can unsubscribe from our commercial or promotional emails at any time. We will continue to send you transactional and relational emails about your account use on PeepsRide’s Platform.
You can opt out of receiving push notifications through your device settings. Opting out of receiving push notifications may impact your use of PeepsRide’s Platform (such as receiving a notification that your ride has arrived).
Your name and contact information will always be shared with the respective drivers or passengers and with PeepsRide. You may delete any additional information from your profile that you don’t want other users to see.
Passengers will always be able to see the driver’s name, rating, profile photo and vehicle information.
You can prevent your device from sharing location information at any time through your device/computer/mobile phone’s operating system settings. However, please note, passenger and driver location is core to PeepsRide’s Platform and without it, we cannot provide our services to you.
We store and back up the information you provide us in secure servers and in the cloud. We retain your information for a period of seven years from the date on which you provide the information. This information is stored even if you later delete any information from your user account.
PeepsRide may share this information with Third Parties to the extent that such information is shared in relation to the provision of PeepsRide’s services or at PeepsRide’s discretion.
By using PeepsRide’s Platform, you are agreeing to such retention and disclosure of information by PeepsRide.
You can change your Personally Identifiable Information—PII at any time. You can make changes on the member profile page of PeepsRide’s website. You can also email our Customer Support Team or send us a letter at the following address: info@peepsride.com
When updating your PII, we may ask you to verify your identity before we can act on your request. We may reject requests that:

By using PeepsRide’s Platform, you understand and agree that neither PeepsRide nor its administrators, representatives, associates, affiliates and assigns will be held liable for any loss/damage caused to you or any Third Party due to your use of PeepsRide’s Platform or its services.
PeepsRide is merely a facilitator that connects passengers and drivers to provide and avail of vehicle transportation services. You use PeepsRide’s Platform and avail yourself of its services at your sole risk and responsibility.
If you want to terminate your PeepsRide user account, please contact us through email. We will deactivate your account, but we may retain information from your account for a certain period of time. We may disclose this retained information in a manner that is consistent with our practices with respect to our Privacy Policy for active accounts. We may also retain information from your account to collect any fees owed, resolve disputes and assist with any investigations as permitted by law.
PeepsRide reserves the sole right to deactivate any user’s account, at any time, if PeepsRide is of the opinion that the user is violating the terms of this Privacy Policy or any other PeepsRide’s policies or for any other reason as PeepsRide deems fit.
All rights that are not expressly provided here are reserved by PeepsRide.
All Payments would incur a transaction fee of @ to 3.5% depending on the type of transaction. All refunds take approximately 7-8 working days to be processed to the customer’s bank account.
